A great solution

Many people struggle with blurry vision, discomfort, and frustration—until they discover scleral lenses.

Dr. Jackson will design your custom lens.

Every eye is different, so a one-fits-all approach won't work with keratoconus. Lens designs are constantly advancing with changes in technology.

Feel good about your vision.

Don't let blur, distortion and glare hold you back from being your best for your family and yourself. Schedule a free consultation to see if you would be a good candidate for custom contact lenses.

Meet Dr. Jackson

The first time Dr. Jackson fit a scleral lens on a patient, she knew this was her calling.

“People have come to me after being told by other doctors that nothing could be done for their vision — or worse, that they had ‘mutant eyes.’ I’m in disbelief every time I hear one of those stories.”

Dr. Jackson takes a different approach. She starts by listening. Understanding your struggles, your goals, and what better vision would actually mean in your daily life.

“Maybe the contact lens won’t get you to 20/20. But if your goal is to drive at night, read labels across a warehouse, or work comfortably at a computer — we might be able to get you there. That’s what I’m here to do.”

Meet Kevin.

When his vision suddenly began to get blurry almost a decade ago, he was told that contact lenses were his only option for seeing clearly. Since then, he has tried several types of gas permeable and specialty contact lenses only to end up with irritated and uncomfortable eyes. He had almost given up on contacts and any hope of clear vision until trying scleral lenses.

All the Answers to Your Questions

What makes scleral lenses different from regular contact lenses?

Unlike traditional contacts that rest directly on the cornea, scleral lenses vault over the eye and sit on the sclera (the white part of your eye). This protects the cornea, provides stable vision, and helps with dry eye relief.

Are scleral lenses comfortable?

Yes! Despite being larger than standard contacts, scleral lenses are often more comfortable because they don’t touch the sensitive cornea. They rest on the less sensitive sclera and keep your eyes hydrated all day.

Will my insurance cover scleral lenses?

Some vision and medical insurance providers may offer partial to full coverage. We can check your benefits and discuss financing options during your consultation. We also accept Care Credit, Klarna and Afterpay

Who is a good candidate for scleral lenses?

Scleral lenses are designed for people with:

  • Keratoconus
  • Irregular corneas (due to surgery, injury, or conditions like Pellucid Marginal Degeneration)
  • Severe dry eye syndrome
  • High astigmatism or hard-to-fit prescriptions

How soon will I notice a difference in my vision?

Most patients notice significantly clearer vision immediately after their first fitting! Your lenses will be custom-made to perfectly match your eye shape for maximum clarity and comfort. a commonly asked question

How long do scleral lenses last?

With proper care, scleral lenses typically last 1-2 years. We’ll teach you how to clean and maintain them for long-lasting performance.
